Its time for me to start a consistent blog… its time!
For some of you, we are in touch most weeks, others of you may not have a clue whats been going on in my life since I left Charleston! I’ve been considering starting a blog for a while now, I tried once…it was a personal failure.
I secretly keep up with several of you through your own blogs… little did you know! Since leaving Charleston and California… I’ve left some of the most valuable friendships and familyships I’ve ever known… and its time to be even more intentional to stay connected.
So this is the abbreviated update of this extraordinary life….
First off… just so you all know… I’M ENGAGED!!!! YEAH!!!
I’m pretty sure most of you are aware… but I had to get that off my chest.
The summer before leaving for Bethel, a young, attractive, striking, intelligent, creative man by the name of Chris Nicoletti (who I will introduce more formally later..) started pursuing me. We had our first date during my road trip from South Carolina to California. We knew we wanted to live life together at some point in the future… we didn’t know what it would look like or when… we just wanted it.
I went to Bethel… I had the most incredible year of my life finding the truth of Papa God and all His goodness. He is so so good, all the time. Don’t ever forget that. There is no way to sum up that year of my life… all I can say is that my time in Charleston on top of my time at Bethel has set me up for the beautiful life I have the opportunity of living now.
Bethel came to a close and I knew I wanted start my professional life… I also knew that Chris and I were growing ever more serious and we wanted to live in the same city. Chris got into grad school at CSU and was offered hard funding as a research assistant, huge deal! Therefore, I decided I was heading to Fort Collins, CO to be closer to this boy, to start a life, and see what the Lord had for me next.
I was scared out of my mind…moving to a new town with no job, no friends, no community…
Three days after moving here, I got hired at a local restaurant… Two months later and three weeks after stating out loud that I wanted to teach… I got hired in the most incredible private, Waldorf, Christian, performing arts high school as a Spanish Teacher! (http://tarahighschool.org/) God is so good.
Fast-forward, I’m currently still working in the private high school of 47 students and finishing a certification program through UCD Denver to be a state certified teacher. The school is truly a dream come true… its like being a young life leader all over again.
Chris and I have had the most incredible two almost three years together. He is an incredible individual… if you’ve ever had the chance to meet him… I know you would agree. We have a phenomenal community here in Fort Collins and we are more than excited to be getting married!

I lloooooove this! I knew it all – but love it!!
Now keep it up!
!!!
love you courtnaaaay! xxx
